Are you ready for a warehouse shift?

Operating equipment you are not trained on is the single clearest way to end up in a report with your name at the top. It is also a defence you lose the moment you say yes: nobody later remembers that it was somebody else's idea. Saying no here is not being difficult, and a decent supervisor already knows that.

Leaning stock at height is how people get hurt by something they never saw coming. Making it safe and reporting it takes two minutes; re-wrapping it yourself is well meant but it puts you under the load and leaves no record that it happened.

The error has already happened and nothing you do now makes it worse. What you decide next is the only thing anybody will remember. An error owned in the hour is an administrative fix; the same error found by a customer in three days is an investigation, and by then the question is why you knew and said nothing.

There is no safe technique for a load that is too heavy for one person, and there is NO LEGAL MAXIMUM WEIGHT that makes it fine. The rule is to avoid the lift where it can be avoided, and almost always it can. Good technique is the answer to a load you should be lifting, not to one you should not.

The order is never the reason. The only thing worth the ten seconds is leaving the equipment somewhere it does not block an aisle or a door. Everybody who has ever been in a real one says the same thing afterwards: they thought it was a test too.

Both of the other answers can be right and neither is yours to choose alone. Priority is a decision with consequences further down the line that you cannot see from the pick face. Asking takes thirty seconds and the note is what protects you when somebody asks later why an older order was late.

Damage at knee height is the sort that brings a bay down, and racking fails all at once rather than gradually. It really does get knocked all the time, which is the reason it is inspected rather than the reason it is ignored.

A near miss is the same event as an accident with the luck left in. Sites that count them find the blind corner or the missing mirror; sites that do not find out the hard way. It is not a complaint about the person and it should not be written as one.

A break after six hours is not a courtesy and it is not the supervisor's to give away. Offering the hours at the other end shows you understand the problem without breaking the rule, and an agency worth working for backs you on this. If yours does not, ring them, and if they still do not, that tells you what you are dealing with.

In a yard with vehicles moving, this is the one where minding your own business can get somebody killed. Start with them, because most of the time it is a forgotten coat and that is the end of it. Escalate if it is not.

The stock is real and the order needs it, so leaving it helps nobody. But a system that is wrong stays wrong until somebody says so, and the next person will lose the same ten minutes. Both halves matter and most people only do the first.

The third answer is not wrong and it is often the practical one, but it only works if you say WHY, and saying why is the whole point. Tiredness is a hazard like any other and the person who knows about it is you. Nobody thanks you for the hour if the hour is the one where something happens.
